In order to serve more clients with your service and your gifts, you need to make it clear what you do, how you help people and the results that they can get from your service or help. If you have been following me for some time, you may have heard me say this. However, you need to be clear in your marketing, how your prospective client can make that next step to help you. When you ASK you shall receive. There are many ways to ASK in your marketing and in this article, I will share with you 3 simple ways.
1) Ask for people to sign up for your free offer that is tied to your email list. Ask at every chance you get. Ask on your business cards, website, email signature, outgoing voicemail greeting, stationary. Include your tag line and invitation statement with a link to your opt-in page or website. Sometimes you never know when you are dealing with your ideal client, or someone who knows your ideal client. So invite people to sign up for your info-packed ezine and as you send it out regularly and they get to know you, they may engage you for a service or program.
2) Include a call-to-action – Make your call-to-action as clear as possible. If you are inviting subscribers to sign up for free consultations, be very clear what they should do. Make it very easy for your prospective client to make that next step. Ask them to email you or call you to sign up for the free consultation.
3) Send out solo-emails – In addition to your weekly or regular ezine, you should be sending out solo emails that ask your subscribers to take a specific action. That action could be to buy a product or program that you offer. It can also be to set up some time for a free consultation. When you send out a solo-email, it should very specifically ask for ONE call-to-action. Keep it simple and clear. Remember, this is separate from your regular ezine. Get in the habit of sending out at least 1 solo email per Month. If you have a solution that can help your prospective clients, you have an obligation to let them know about it.
